This transition means Alternative Fuse has reached a large enough user base to sustain costs and research on further product development.

Alternative Fuse is a webmail service provider similar to what someone would expect out of Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, or Hotmail. By officially declaring an end to the beta, otherwise known as the active testing phase, Alternative Fuse will now offer Professional and free web email account(s) to all those who register.

This transition means Alternative Fuse has reached a large enough user base to sustain costs and research on further product development. Further, it means that the webmail service will be around for years to come, so no need to fret over lost accounts, actually Alternative Fuse offers unlimited lengths and storage for all accounts (conditions apply), but only the Professional webmail has guarantees attached to it, read the privacy policy for more info on that.

The uniqueness of Alternative Fuse is based on the fact that they are offering what a typical free webmail service provider would offer (yahoomail) but with additional capabilities that parallel a paid service. Among the additional features include; more advanced user options, such as, forwarding, read receipts, WYSIWYG editor, avatars, voice options, and template options. Of course the list continues however there is not enough space to list all features.

Research and development is expected to offer additional options to the service. Current research includes SMIME encryption to go along with the SSL encryption already being offered. This additional encryption will secure all messages to the point where all messages going in and out of the inbox will be encrypted, a service not offered by the big three. Furthermore, a Project Management platform is currently in production, this service addition will allow users the opportunity to create a project with a unique URL, enabling that user to collaborate with others. The Project Management software has four elements and those are; Filesharing, Photosharing, a Pages page (similar to Google Docs), and a Project Management page for listing projects using a timeline. This feature also affords the primary user the ability to create new users and set permissions.

Needless to say, Alternative Fuse looks forward to expansion and creating a product unmatched to the current status quo. Their elegant theme with six template choices, offer a user the ability to pick and choose which option is right for them. These options include; 2 main template graphics with additional security options, or interactive options. For a more secure option the Premium service is always recommended, especially since it comes with 24 hour guaranteed response time from the network administrator.
