History repeating itself is not always a dooming experience. For Nevada based national registered agent firm InCorp Services, Inc., being awarded second place in the magazine’s prestigious Best Places to Work competition is a good kind of repetition, especially when placing second out of thousands of companies.
The business-to-business weekly Vegas INC. magazine held its 2012 Best Places to Work awards banquet at the Veil Pavilion inside the Silverton Hotel & Casino. The award recognizes and honors companies where the employee experience excels in atmosphere, policy and compensation. The annual awards program allows companies a chance to be judged by the most discriminating critics – its employees.
You might not think that the registered agent industry would make an exciting workplace, but fun takes a front seat at the InCorp office. In addition to having no dress code for team members, a 12-person Fun Committee oversees events such as the daily “Koo Koo Train”, weekly “Drink Cart Friday”, as well as Zion National Park camping trips, birthday lunches, nacho days, carnival days, family outings and more.
“By having fun, you care more about what you’re doing,” says Gayle Clauges, director of client services. “Our employees are here 40 hours a week, every week, so we want to make sure they want to be here. If we’re taking you away from your family, we might as well make it a fun place to be!”
And that fun translates to how InCorp works with its clients. Clauges says the clients know they can depend on superior customer service and an unwavering commitment to quality, because at the end of the day, business is only as good its relationships.
