They will sponsor the winning artists each month from the MusicJuice MusicBattle Arena. The winners are determined by the fans based on their voting from the 1v1 song combat. The artist's from the top vote getting songs from each genre will split the prize and receive the money towards their project.
When asked why the company was willing to commit so much money towards unknown artists, Rocky Lui, founder of MusicJuice.Net says, “We see the music industry dieing and many new artists signing long-term slave contracts in order to have a chance. We want to step in and make a difference. To bring the power back to the people and the artists.”
The new version of site has also created blog, video and photo sections; all interconnected in a way unseen in other blog or video sites before. It creates a new atmosphere of linkage among the information on the website. Providing users with a never ending link to blogs and videos that they will want to see; based on their usage data on the site. MusicJuice.Net provides a perfect balance between a push and pull presentation. The push from the website's end on popular topics on the site and featured items, while the pull from the analysis of the user's usage data to present blogs and videos that the users actually have an interest in.
MusicJuice.Net plans to become a top indie music blog/video community and build up support for the Independent Artists. Their goal is to one day launch a number one selling album through one of its Artist's projects.
