With Aeroseal you save money on your energy bill and improve indoor air quality.

Aeroseal technology was featured on the NBC “Today” show in a segment on allergy proofing your home. During the segment, home improvement expert and host of HouseSmarts TV, Lou Manfredini shared information on some of his favorite new products for reducing the spread of indoor allergens and improving the overall indoor air quality of homes, including Aeroseal.

A long-time fan of aeroseal technology, Manfredini chose to feature aeroseal because of its highly effective ability to seal duct leaks – a significant cause of indoor air contamination and other indoor air quality-related problems.

“(With the use of Aeroseal) your HVAC system runs more efficiently, you save money on your energy bills and the (improvement made in) indoor air quality inside your home is huge,” said Manfredini during the segment. “The improvement (from Aeroseal) is fantastic.”

Developed with funding from the U.S. Department of Energy and others, Aeroseal works from inside the ductwork to find and seal leaks. Applied as an aerosol mist of microscopic sealant particles, aeroseal travels throughout the entire duct system, where it remains airborne until it comes across a hole or gap in the system. Here it settles along the edge of the leak and bonds with other sealant particles until the leak is completely sealed. Since it works from the inside the duct system, aeroseal can access all leaks throughout the ductwork, even those hidden behind walls or under insulation.

Aeroseal has been proven to be 95% effective at sealing leaky ductwork and can last the life of the ductwork. It is completely safe to use and can also improve the comfort and energy efficiency of homes.
