AmeriVap Systems, Inc. makers of Xtreme Steam is the recognized leader in industrial dry steam vapor sanitizing technology. It has experienced significant growth the last two years due to increased interest in sustainability, water conservation and “green” sanitizing solutions by the industrial sector, thereby requiring a larger facility and operating capital.

"We are very fortunate to be a growing company in this tough economy,” said Werner Diercks, owner of AmeriVap Systems. “We’re very excited about the many opportunities made possible through this funding, especially our expansion to a much larger facility.” AmeriVap will move from Atlanta early next month and is expecting to create several new jobs for Dawson County over the next year.

The loan, made through Community Bank of Pickens County in Jasper, Georgia, is a Guaranteed Business and Industry (B&I) loan from USDA Rural Development. The B&I loan allows Rural Development to partner with a local lender to guarantee up to 90% of the loan. “In the current banking environment, we would not have been able to originate this loan for AmeriVap without the USDA 90% guarantee program,” said Geraldine Moody, executive vice-president and chief credit officer of Community Bank of Pickens County. “During these tough economic times we are pleased to be an approved USDA Rural Development lender. Southeast Bank Services, who packaged the loan, is a company we have worked with for many years. We are looking forward to a long term relationship with AmeriVap.”

USDA Rural Development has loan and grant programs to promote economic development and improve the quality of life in rural areas. “We do have funds to help businesses who need credit,” said Shirley Sherrod, state director of USDA Rural Development. “We need solid companies with good business plans, goals and dynamic leadership,” Sherrod said. “AmeriVap is a promising company with a bright future. This will be very good for Dawson County.”

AmeriVap Systems, Inc. is the leader in industrial dry vapor steam cleaning equipment providing chemical free cleaning and sanitizing solutions for the food processing and packaging industries, aviation, hospitality, hospitals and healthcare organizations, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies, as well as laboratories and pest control companies.
