"We are honored to have been selected on this very important commission" noted Feisal Nanji, Executive Director of Techumen. "We hope to make significant contributions that serve to improve the security and privacy of health information in America. The transformation of Health Care is at an inflection point. This has been made clear by President Obama and his extraordinary support of health information technology and Electronic Health Records in the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) of 2009. Tomorrow's world must be driven by information flows that allow for rapid clinical decision making, better education, improved health care and reduced costs. This reliance on information transactions cannot be understated and security and privacy must be at the core of trusted information exchange."
Techumen provides a range of strategic services to securely manage health information. These include services to reduce information risk and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations. Techumen's target customers are principally health providers and payers, and others in the health care chain seeking to ensure the sanctity, security, and privacy of electronic health information. Techumen's management team is led by a seasoned group of practicing security and privacy professionals with over 50 years of information technology experience.
