the best thing that every happened to Seventh Generation
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 13, 2009
Antioch Seattle is bringing together CR leaders seeking to bump up the impact of their current Corporate Responsibility programs. Using web-based meeting forums combined with residential events, executives from around the country will engage in peer-to-peer dialogue enriched and guided by systemic frameworks, and led by internationally respected consultant Carol Sanford. Jeffrey Hollender, Executive Chairman of Seventh Generation and a nationally respected corporate responsibility leader, described his company's involvement in such dialogues as "the best thing that every happened to Seventh Generation".
A collaborative consultative learning process will challenge current thinking and stimulate innovation. Using their own companies as the "case studies" they work on, executives will explore CR challenges and successes, and gain a collaborative creative network to think with, and learn from, during and beyond the series of dialogues.
The program design evolved from a CR Founders Board exploratory dialogue, facilitated by program faculty, on the current state of corporate responsibility. Board members include: Jeffrey Hollender, Founder of Seventh Generation, Inc., Jay Cohen Gilbert, Co-founder of B-Corp, Judith Wickes, founder of White Dog Café, Bill White, President of DuPont of Canada, Allen White, Senior Fellow of Tellus Institute, Chuck Bennett, V.P. Aveda, and Walt Freeze, President, Ben and Jerry's.
The eight-month CR Innovation conversation begins in October 2009. The program begins and ends with a 2-½ day residency in Seattle, with eight web conference meetings held during the interim. The second Seattle residential gathering is in May 2010. Dialogue participants will include thought leaders that come from companies and universities who have been leading this conversation globally including Seventh Generation, Inc. and MIT.
Fees, expenses and other details on how to join in the program can be found on Antioch's website at http://www.antiochseattle.edu/ce/certificates-cr.html
