Last week, SeekingArrangement.com – the leading sugar daddy online dating website – was featured in an Inside Edition episode about Sugar Daddies. The sugar dating website today issued a statement stating that the “Inside Edition investigates Sugar Daddies” coverage is one-sided and biased.

The Sugar Daddy episode which first aired on October 27, 2011 featured a 21 year old college student working undercover for Inside Edition, signing up on SeekingArrangement.com to meet potential sugar daddies. The episode also featured her meeting up with a potential sugar daddy she corresponded with on the website in a hidden camera setup. Her sugar baby profile on SeekingArrangement.com was promptly suspended once website administrators learned that she engaged in behavior that violated the website’s Terms of Use policy. Her sugar baby profile was removed approximately 24 hours after she joined. SeekingArrangement.com policy clearly states:

IMPORTANT: Use of this website constitutes acceptance of our Terms of Use Agreement. Please note that we prohibit anyone from promoting illegal activities (such as prostitution) or commercial activities of any kind. If such conduct comes to our attention we reserve the right to remove you from our website, ban you permanently and report you to law enforcement. If you are an ESCORT, please DO NOT use this website.

“On a website where hundreds of thousands of wealthy and beautiful people gather, there will always be some people trying to abuse and misuse the system,” says Brandon Wade, Founder & CEO of SeekingArrangement.com. “We take this very seriously and enforce our policies by banning all members that violate our policy. Accounts of both the sugar daddy and sugar baby featured on the Inside Edition coverage have been deleted and banned from our website.”

According to SeekingArrangement.com, the modern Sugar Daddy is expected to be always respectful and generous.

“The media is always focused on casting a negative light on the Sugar Daddy and Sugar Baby relationship,” says Wade. “The fact is, if the media coverage was balanced, it would feature thousands of positive personal stories that come about from people who meet through our dating website.”
