SingTel Digital Media's inSing.com has launched a campaign to find the ultimate Movie Lover, whose primary responsibility will be writing reviews for the lifestyle site. With inSing.com priding itself on providing distinctly Singaporean content, the goal is to find a true Singaporean movie lover, who wants to share his or her great movie insights and unique personality with the users of inSing.com.
This fantastic opportunity requires the Movie Lover to write four detailed movie reviews each month for inSing.com. The opportunity is for the duration of six months. In addition to watching lots of blockbuster movies, the Movie Lover will receive a payment of S$1,200 for the six month period, an Apple MacBook to be used to write the movie reviews, an official inSing.com Movie Lover name card and the opportunity for all of Singapore to read the movie reviews on inSing.com.
The announcement of this unique role coincides with inSing.com's launch of a one-stop Movies section to enhance the local lifestyle site. The section provides the complete movie experience, where users will be able to watch movie trailers, search for show times and cinema locations, make bookings at Golden Village and Shaw cinemas through direct links to their online booking systems, get the gossip on movie stars, read interviews with international celebrities, and of course read all the latest reviews from inSing.com's in-house Movie Lover.
To provide added convenience, this new section will also be fully accessible via mobile, allowing users who are out to find details of movie showtimes, and read reviews, all while they are on the go.
In addition to user reviews, the movies section will also feature exclusive movie reviews from some of the best professionals in the industry – Ken Kwek and Yong Shu Chiang. Ken is a screenwriter and playwright, his most recent work includes local movie, The Blue Mansion, and forthcoming play, The Composer. Shu Chiang is a freelance editor, writer and professional movie reviewer.
Commenting on the search for inSing.com's Movie Lover, Alex Fenby, Director of Content, SingTel Digital Media said: "We are excited to find our Movie Lover, someone who is passionate about movies, knows what Singaporeans like and dislike, and has an engaging personality. We welcome all movie buffs to apply, and for everyone to explore our exciting new Movies section."
With regard to the new section, Ms Varsha Rao, CEO of SingTel Digital Media, said, "inSing.com aims to be the premier Singapore-centric lifestyle site and with over a million unique users visiting us each month, it's important that we evolve and meet the needs of our visitors. Singaporeans, being such keen movie-goers, were requesting an entertaining and informative Movies section on inSing.com and this section was developed as a result. Listening to and implementing suggestions from our users is extremely important for us to continue to be successful."
The dedicated Movies section complements the existing pillars of inSing.com, which provide comprehensive news, features and reviews around Food & Drink, Shopping, Things To Do, Business & Service Finder, Entertainment and News.
