The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) announced the expansion of its philanthropic efforts into the Texas and the Southeast. Presently operating in the Western United States, the New York-Northeast region and in the Midwest, the Texas-Southeast Division marks the launch of the IICF’s fourth operating division.
The inaugural Texas-Southeast Division board boasts fourteen industry-leading insurance organizations. Taking the leadership role is MHBT Inc. as the division’s first Founder Circle board member. Also providing leadership and guidance to the board are representatives from ACE, Argo, Chartis, Chubb, CNA, CoVerica, CRC Insurance Services, The Hartford, Lockton, Mayer Brown, LLP, Star Risk Services, Wells Fargo Insurance Services and Zurich North America.
Bill Henry of MHBT Inc. will chair the newly launched Texas-Southeast Division. Henry serves as chairman and CEO of MHBT Inc., one of the largest independently owned insurance agencies in Texas.

This is a wonderful way for our industry to demonstrate its leadership, business knowledge and support of our communities.”
The Texas-Southeast Division will initially focus on serving the Dallas area, but will continue expanding its reach throughout Texas and the southeast United States.
The IICF, founded in California in 1994, draws together the collective strengths of the insurance industry to provide grants, volunteer service and leadership. As a national nonprofit, the IICF has provided over $18 million in community grants and over 155,000 volunteer service hours to local community organizations.
