IntelliSoft Group, LLC, a New Hampshire-based medical credentialing software company, today announced the integration of The Greeley Company’s extensive proprietary library of criteria-based core privileging forms will be available in the next release of IntelliCred™, v12.3, available in early May. This new content will enable the user to create delineation forms with the reassurance of knowing the content is accurate, current and from a well-respected source within the industry, The Greeley Company. It will also give users a better way to gauge a practitioner’s competency to perform the scope of privileges being granted.

With the adoption of the Affordable Care Act and its impact on quality patient care, especially when it comes to Medicare reimbursement, the importance of a fully-automated, content rich and technologically-advanced credentialing and privileging software solution that effectively tracks the performance of practitioners is more important than ever. Nearly $1 billion in payments to hospitals will be based in part on patient satisfaction.

"We are excited about our new partnership with The Greeley Company,” said Mike Melville, CEO of IntelliSoft Group. “The significance of Medicare reimbursement as it relates to the Affordable Care Act is crucial to the financial stability of hospitals across the country and will continue to be for years to come. The addition of The Greeley Company’s credentialing content into our software significantly expands our product’s capabilities.”

Because CMS rewards acute-care hospitals with incentive payments for the quality of care they provide to people with Medicare, the importance credentialing and privileging software and its ability to measure quality is key to managing a physician’s performance. The addition of this new content will help users of IntelliCred to solve the many challenges of creating privileging forms and storing of data that is not only meaningful, but will meet and/or exceed credentialing and privileging standards and guidelines.
