The month of July, Raleigh's National Art Interiors + Design (NAID) recognizes three Southeastern furniture companies who are dedicated to keeping manufacturing jobs here in the United States.

Hickory Chair was founded in 1911 in Hickory, North Carolina. They take great pride in employing the best local artisans and craftsman. Each piece is made to order and can be customized in nearly any way imaginable. While their designs are taken from all across the globe, their production remains right here in North Carolina.

The seeds that grew to form Baker Furniture were planted in Michigan by a Dutch immigrant named Siebe Baker. The combination of Old World techniques and New World innovations allowed Baker to grow quickly in the 1920's and set them among the top producers of the furniture industry for years to come. Today, Baker lines range from traditional, with Historic Charleston, to modern, with their Lexicon Collection. Most of their most popular lines are still manufactured in North Carolina!

Rising from a basement in 1946, Henkel Harris has grown to represent the finest in American furniture production. They are headquartered in Winchester, VA and maintain their promise to keep manufacturing on American soil. Still a family owned business, Henkel Harris specializes in 18th and 19th antique reproductions and their classic Henkel finish is one of a kind.

National Art Interiors + Design is proud to carry these lines, who have stayed true to their heritage and represent the finest furniture America has to offer! Additionally, NAID is Raleigh's only location where consumers can purchase Baker Furniture and Henkel Harris.

National Art Interiors + Design first opened its doors in Raleigh in 1944 and remains one of the oldest locally owned, and most highly respected, furniture and interior design firms in the Triangle area.
