This average time also exceeds the combined times for washingtonpost.com, USATODAY.com, and msnbc.com. This viewer loyalty translates into the Drudge Report earning $14.81 in revenue per unique user (RPUU). According to MediaPost's ranking, the Drudge Report had the highest RPUU for the top 100 publishers on the list.

The sustained, high revenue per unique user metric proves that the site delivers strong performance across a wide variety of advertising campaigns," said Lucido. These campaigns include top brand advertisers, fundraising for both leading presidential candidates during the 2008 election cycle, and charitable efforts by Move America Forward, which raised more than $1.1 million in just two days last summer to support U.S. troops serving overseas.
