National Trade Shows Play Critical Role in NextTruck Marketing Strategy

One way the publication offers premium promotional coverage to its advertising customers is through participation in the semi truck and trailer industry’s largest trade shows. These include The Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, KY; The Work Truck Show (NTEA) in Indianapolis, IN; The Great West Truck Show in Las Vegas, NV; The Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, TX; and The Charlotte Diesel Super Show in Charlotte, NC.

“We’re very excited about the various trucking events this year,” said Amy Looper, General Manager. “All of these shows will give us a greater opportunity to bring buyers and sellers together in the truck and trailer industry.”

NextTruck also focuses on networking through various conferences and conventions throughout the year. These include The Truck Blue Book Conference in New Orleans, LA; American Truck Dealers (ATD) Convention & Expo in Phoenix, AZ; and the Used Truck Association (UTA) in Scottsdale, AZ.

“Our staff works really hard at the shows, personally distributing copies of our magazine,” said Looper. “We’re like a personal sales rep for our advertisers, putting a copy of their ad in the hands of as many buyers as possible, while those buyers are at the shows and in a buying mode.”

NextTruck will occupy booth numbers 30204 and 63232 at The Mid-America Trucking Show. The event is schedule for March 31 through April 2, 2011, at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, KY. Copies of the latest print magazine will be available, as well as on-site demonstrations of the NextTruck website, http://www.nexttruckonline.com.

NextTruck features trucks, trailers, parts and accessories. The magazine’s inventory-intensive website is highly searchable and also features upcoming auctions and events, as well as other industry resources.

NextTruck is distributed at truck stops throughout the U.S. The print edition is also mailed to owner/operators and fleet executives. A digital edition of each issue is emailed to over 100,000 recipients.

Published twice monthly, NextTruck is a joint venture of Randall-Reilly Publishing, in business since 1934 in Tuscaloosa, AL, and TAP Publishing, operating since 1937 in Crossville, TN.
