Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce to host a Internet Marketing Workshop

The Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Marketing have announced a series of workshops designed to help marketers and business owners quickly achieve social media and internet marketing success.

The next workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, September 14 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at JFK University, 100 Ellinwood Way, Room S 304, Pleasant Hill. The title of this workshop is “How to Integrate Traditional & Online Marketing with Mobile Media.”

Contrary to popular belief, the print media is still very viable and effective when properly integrated with internet and mobile media text message marketing.

Mary Hantos of Hearst Media Services will cover Gatelist, a digital services agency and a diverse web and print platform to send more potential customers to a business. She will discuss hosting business content on SFGate.com, the Bay Area’s largest local media Web site, with the highest search rankings for relevant content.

Hantos will introduce and discuss web “landing pages” to tell the story of a business and raise its free SEO search rankings by using PR Web, the most prominent online press release agency in the country.

By using this system, companies can integrate monthly online press releases to make even further strides with free organic SEO search rankings.

The media package also has the ability to track and report all inbound phone calls, who, when, length of call, etc. The package allows for simple dashboards and analytics that give instant feedback on the success of the investment and new customer volume.

It is also important to make sure people posting online are being truthful about the company. Reputation management can monitor what customers say about your company on the web with a social media manager on Facebook, Twitter and other influential websites.

Other features include video, paid Search Engine Marketing (SEM) across all major search engines and text messaging marketing.

The last decade was marked by the rise of the PC and the internet in marketing. These days, the Smartphone is rapidly becoming the new PC, but with more capable of delivering consumer marketing information on-demand, anytime and anywhere.

Pete Sabine of Main Street Marketing will cover the importance of text message marketing and describe how customers can use opt-in call capture to build a list of prospects for future offerings and to save money on print media advertising by adding the visuals.

Sabine will also discuss how to send on-line mobile business cards to potential customers, set up niche’ groups for specific products or promotional mobile marketing campaigns and how to send real time product or service info, photos and web links for instant viewing directly to a prospect’s mobile phone.

To RSVP, log onto http://www.MarketingSolutions.eventbrite.com or send “MarketingForMainStreet” in a text message to 90210. Seating is limited so everyone is encouraged to RSVP early.
