Customer2You Software, LLC has recently completed work on a more advanced version of their popular Internet Ordering Software for Restaurants. As in the original version, Customer2You v2 for Aldelo allows consumers to browse a restaurant's menu online then place and pay for their order via the Internet. The paid order goes directly into the Aldelo Point of Sale (POS) in the restaurant while the tickets print immediately at the register and in the kitchen.

With Customer2You v2, a restaurant can now have its menu online within one business day. The new version boasts a super simple install, no configuration and much tighter integration with the Aldelo POS. The program installation takes less than five minutes and requires no preparation or configuration on the restaurant's part. The newly installed program will automatically extract the menu items, modifiers and categories then send the data directly to the Customer2You server to be prepared by their staff.

"We've taken all the work away from the restaurant," remarked Glen Wheeler, President, Customer2You Software. "Even the look and feel of the menu is edited by Customer2You to match the restaurant's existing website and printed menu. The restaurant manager does not have to be involved the process at all."

For restaurants that offer delivery, there is a new automatic location finder. It determines if the customer's address belongs within a delivery area. If not, the customer will only have the choice of "take out" or "curbside". Instead of simply finding the closest location or using a basic "within x miles" qualifier, Customer2You has developed an advanced geocoding system that allows a restaurant to accurately represent the true delivery area. Even in locations where the delivery areas fit together like jigsaw puzzles, Customer2You v2 will route the order to the correct location.

Another truly unique innovation is the new, "2nd party payer" option which lets one person put together an order then request another party to provide payment. Now teenagers at home, or college students away, can build a pizza order then send a link asking mom or dad to pay for it. Businesses can also take advantage of this feature to have the catering orders of various departments paid by accounting. Customer2You Software has also added "Catering" and "Order in Advance" options that allow businesses and other organizations to order large quantities for special events.

Customer2You also offers a "Lite" version that includes exactly the same features as the original without integration into the POS. Both versions provide an administration portal for editing menu item descriptions, changing modifier options and reviewing the order history. A mobile version of Customer2You, that will allow customers to place orders from their cell phones, is due to be released next month.
