It is my desire to encourage all readers that it is possible to overcome even the worst of situations when one steps into the light (and the love) of our mighty God
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (PRWEB) March 11, 2013
“Into the Light” (published by WestBow Press) is author Susan P. Carswell’s look back at her life and how she became the woman she is today. “This is an assignment from God,” says Carswell. “This is a love letter to Him thanking Him for bringing me through innumerable traumas.”
“Into the Light” is told, as the author states, in an uncommonly graphic style. Carswell was severely abused as a child – abuse that continued as an adult. “I lived a confused double existence,” she says. “One part of me was a respected attorney and administrative law judge in Manhattan and the other was a drugged out, broken individual.”
Readers will witness the horrors of her early childhood which pushed her into a life of darkness and despair. Each desperate attempt to escape this double life was shattered by her need to block out painful memories. However, readers will see Carswell rise from the ashes of her past life and find love. This love began her journey down the road of Christ. As she pours her life onto the pages, readers will witness this transformation and be encouraged to follow suit.
“It is my desire to encourage all readers that it is possible to overcome even the worst of situations when one steps into the light (and the love) of our mighty God,” she says. “My testimony is also written in hopes of encouraging women that, regardless of how far down one has sunk in life, the love of our Almighty God can put all the pieces together and bring them out into a victorious place.”
