Intrinsyc Software International, Inc. (TSX: ICS), a leading provider of software solutions for mobile devices, today announced that senior software engineer Francesc Vilariño Güell will deliver a technical presentation in the Microsoft theatre, booth #616, at the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) Silicon Valley 2009, McEnry Convention Center, San Jose, CA. The 30-minute presentation will be delivered Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at 6:30 pm, and Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
Entitled "Telephony: Modem Control in Windows Embedded CE," the talk will focus on how to abstract modem hardware for phone applications in the Microsoft Windows Embedded CE operating system. Güell will examine the common obstacles that can impede the design of the modem control subsystem such as maintaining radio fidelity and assuring adequate data throughput. The key technologies to be covered include the radio interface layer, cellular telephony, modem abstraction layer, GSM, GCF/PTCRB, and IOT.
