InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit this idea, the Collapsible Leaf Bag Organizer, to applicable companies for their consideration.

An inventor from Savannah, Ga., knows how frustrating dealing with fallen leaves can be. "One day I looked out the window and noticed that a neighbor’s full leaf bag had fallen over and the leaves had spilled out, creating a mess of leaves that blew on my property - on which I don’t even have any trees," she said. "This inspired me to come up with a way to prevent this problem, as well as to make leaf-bag containment and disposal more convenient in general."

The COLLAPSIBLE LEAF BAG ORGANIZER is a device that provides a more convenient and reliable method of containing and disposing of raked leaves. It prevents spills, messes and hassles, as well as eliminates the need for assistance and unnecessary cleanup. Overall, it saves time and effort. Compact, ergonomic, easy to use and store, and producible in design variations, the device is ideal for landscapers, maintenance services, homeowners and businesses.

The original design was submitted to the Savannah office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
