InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is submitting the COVERGEN to companies for their possible feedback.

"I wanted something that would protect my portable outdoor generator from damages, while also ensuring that it ran quietly," said an inventor from Twp of Washington, N.J. "I designed this cover to keep the generator safeguarded from damages and to make it so that it was not as noisy."

He developed the COVERGEN to provide cover for an outdoor portable generator. It dampens noises so that the generator operates more quietly. The unit allows the generator to be refueled easily. The cover is designed to enhance safety and offer added peace of mind. The device is easy to set up and take down. Additionally, the accessory features a lightweight, collapsible design for ease in storage.

The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
