InventHelp, founded in 1984, is submitting this idea, the DOUBLE DUTY SHIELD A WHEEL, to companies for their consideration.

An inventor from Georgetown, S.C., wanted a way to save time while detailing her tires so she developed a way to protect rims from overspray. She then acquired a patent of her idea.

The DOUBLE DUTY SHIELD A WHEEL facilitates detailing a vehicle’s tires. It protects a wheel rim from overspray, which prevents stains, as well as saves time and effort. The unit secures over the wheel rim via magnetism. The shield is ideal for car detailers and DIYers.

The original design was submitted to the Columbia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
