Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, Ever Ready Power, to companies for review.

"I have lost very important phone calls due to my battery dying at the worst possible time," said one of two inventors from Birmingham, Ala. "In order to make sure that we no longer lost or dropped calls due to a dead battery, we came up with this convenient charging device."

They developed the EVER READY POWER to offer a quick and easy way to charge a cell phone. The accessory prevents the battery from dying at inopportune times. It makes it possible to charge the battery when a conventional electrical outlet is unavailable. The unit ensures that cell-phone service is not cut off during important calls. This provides added peace of mind. Furthermore, the invention is adaptable for use with any cell phone, as well as other electronic devices.

The original design was submitted to the Birmingham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
