Individuals that need dentures enjoy an improved quality of life when the dentures are in use. Just like natural teeth, dentures help to support facial muscles, are used to chew foods and allow individuals to properly pronounce words. Dentures require regular cleaning and maintenance, as well as the denture implant locators in the mouth.

A periodontist and inventor from Los Angeles, Calif., has invented IMPLANT LOCATOR BRUSH, a oral care product that allows individuals to effectively clean implant locators used to anchor dentures in the mouth. "In my line of work I see a lot of patients struggle to clean the implant part and often leads to gum inflammation and the loss of their dentures," said the inventor. "I decided to invent this tool to help clean implant locators, which will improve the quality of life for individuals with dentures." IMPLANT LOCATOR BRUSH safely and carefully cleans the area of the gum surrounding the implant locator.

This invention reduces the risk of gum inflammation and malodorous breath and helps ensure the dentures continue to fit properly. It can be produced in both a consumer version as well as a professional version to be used by periodontists.
