InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, is submitting this idea, the LIFTING EDGE, to companies for their review.

After extended use, the cutting edge of a snow plow or grader begins to wear down and needs to be replaced. The process of doing so has historically been difficult and often requires more than one person to complete the task.

An inventor from Vermilion Bay, Ontario, has invented LIFTING EDGE, a device that facilitates the servicing of snow plows as it expedites the process of replacing the lower cutting edge of the plow without the use of an assistant. "I invented this device to assist mechanics, snow-plow and grader operators with the replacement of the cutting edge," said the inventor. "It is a safer, easier alternative to conventional methods that results in less injuries and increased productivity on the job." As a mechanic himself, the inventor makes use of LIFTING EDGE on the job. LIFTING EDGE reduces the risk of overexertion and other injuries associated with replacing such edges.

This invention can be adapted for use on most two ton floor jacks. Its sturdy design is strong and durable for years of effective use.

The original design was submitted to the National office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
