InventHelp® Client Develops Infant-Care Accessory (CCT-948)

Share Article

An Ohio-based InventHelp client has invented the Rock A Vee Quick Tote Rocker, which is being submitted to companies for review.

"When our son got fussy while in his infant carrier, we had to undo the straps and pick him up and rock him to calm him down, or we had to set his car seat on the ground to try to rock him," said an inventor from Cincinnati, Ohio. "I thought that there had to be a better way."

He developed the Rock A Vee Quick Tote Rocker to make it easier to rock a fussy child to sleep. The unit ensures that a sleeping child is not disturbed and woken up. The accessory calms and soothes the child. The invention eliminates the need for a bulky, expensive standalone swing. It is designed to be portable, lightweight and easy to transport. Furthermore, the device can be used almost anywhere.

The original design was submitted to the Cincinnati office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
