InventHelp® Inventor Develops Screen Buddies (KIP-845)

Share Article

A Pennsylvania InventHelp client has invented Screen Buddies, which is being submitted to companies for review.

"All too often, people do not realize that the screen door is closed, and they wind up walking into it, hurting themselves or damaging the screen," said an inventor from Hazleton, Pa. "To keep them from doing this, I came up with this convenient indicator."

She created a prototype for Screen Buddies to ensure that individuals know that there is a screen there. This prevents individuals from walking into the screen. The device stops screen doors from being damaged, which saves money on replacing screens. Additionally, the accessories are easy to apply and remove, and they create a decorative effect.

The original design was submitted to the King of Prussia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
