InventHelp, America’s largest invention submission company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Texas, has designed a device that could promote efficiency when rolling up tie-down straps on 18-wheeled trailers. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.
The “Tie Down Roll Up Tool” could provide a quick and easy way to roll up tie-down straps, saving both time and effort when performing this task. Helping to promote efficiency and productivity, the invention would be easy to use. The Tie Down Roll Up Tool would be ideal for both flatbed-truck drivers and firefighters.
The invention would be a flat unit measuring approximately 4-inches long, and featuring a central squared hole that measures 3/8-inch by 3/8-inch. Notches would be located on the top and bottom of both ends. To use, the individual would slide the unit through the holes of a tie-down spool. They would then insert a power-drill bit into the central hole of the unit and power the drill on. The drill’s power would rotate the spool so that the tie-down strap wraps around the spool quickly. A ¼-inch socket adapter would also be included with the Tie Down Roll Up Tool.
“It takes a lot of time and effort to roll up tie-down straps on the trailers of 18-wheeler trucks,” said the inventor. “I designed a way to make this task quick and easy.”
InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 12-AUP-285 at (800) 851-6030.
