Sanders is a seasoned technology M&A advisor with a decade of experience in investment banking and corporate law roles with Bear, Stearns & Co., Montgomery Securities, Hogan & Hartson and DLA Piper where he completed more than 40 capital-raising and M&A transactions with an aggregate value of over $5 billion. Most recently, he has also been a successful entrepreneur as CEO of Atlantis Waterproofing & Mold Control.

Immediately prior to joining Updata, Sanders was CEO of Atlantis Waterproofing & Mold Control, a residential home services firm with over forty employees. During his tenure at Atlantis, he quadrupled the firm's revenue and profits and expanded its service coverage from one to eight states.

Sanders received a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, a Master's degree from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. He earned a B.A. with distinction from the University of Virginia, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
