Investors Trust Unites under Global Brand Name
Change Aims to Improve Brand Recognition and Integration
GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) December 15, 2008 --
Investors Trust Assurance SPC, a global insurance company providing
quality offshore wealth management solutions to international investors,
today announced the integration of its companies under the worldwide
brand, Investors Trust. The company, formerly doing business as American
International Assurance, SPC (also known as American International
Investors Trust or AIIT), changed its official name to Investors Trust
Assurance SPC in order to align its brand with its global offerings and
as a continuation of its strategy to grow and transform the business to
compete on a global scale. The name change will not interrupt the
company’s business offerings or client services.
“This name change is primarily a reaffirmation of our core business
offerings and will in no way change how we interact or conduct business
around the world,” said Michael Kennedy, General Counsel.
Earlier this year, the company announced that American International
Investors Trust would become known globally as Investors Trust. The
company also amended and restated its Delaware Trust, which will be
effective January 1, 2009, to reflect integration of the global brand.
Plans, policies and other agreements issued under the former name will
not be affected by the changes announced today. The full integration of
the global brand will occur during the first few months of 2009.
Clients, employees and introducers alike will continue to communicate
through the company’s existing Web site, www.investors-trust.com,
and there will be a modification to the administrative company e-mail
address to @investors-trust.com from @aiitservice.com.

unremarkable to our clients, introducers and our business partners,”
said Kennedy. “Our desire to continue to grow requires us to improve our
brand recognition among consumers and financial advisers and
institutions.”
Investors Trust feels its brand recognition and awareness will improve
by marketing under a global brand, which will help the firm as it enters
new markets and works with new business partners.
