InvoTech solutions increase profitability for hundreds of hotels and casinos worldwide
InvoTech’s integration of a portable UHF-RFID handheld reader is a centerpiece of its latest round of innovations that increase operator efficiency. The wireless reader can inventory a large linen storeroom in minutes to save hours of labor costs and significantly boost staff productivity. The mobile device communicates remotely with InvoTech’s database via Wi-Fi to instantly transmit information directly to the system database via the cloud. Staff throughout a property can access the updated information immediately.
Hundreds of hotels and casinos worldwide rely on InvoTech’s inventory control software to eliminate costs through automated linen and uniform management. The award-winning Rivers Casino Des Plaines, Illinois uses InvoTech’s UHF-RFID Uniform Tracking system to manage more than 20,000 custom-designed staff uniforms. “We have nearly 1,400 employees and 12 to15 different uniform styles,” said Olga Pellecer, Rivers Casino wardrobe supervisor. “Each of our seven food and beverage outlets have unique themes and uniforms. Managing 20,000 uniforms usually requires labor-intensive procedures to hand sort and track garments. InvoTech’s advanced UHF-RFID tracking technology enables us to run a high-volume operation with just four people.”
InvoTech users include MGM Resorts International, Hyatt Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Loews Hotels, Marriott, Mandarin Oriental, and other leading companies. InvoTech’s international uniform system customers include the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel, MGM Grand Macau, Wynn Macau, Four Seasons Macau, Burswood Entertainment Complex Australia, Sheraton Seoul Korea, Resorts World Singapore.
