“We selected InvoTech for Valley Forge Casino Resort because its system is a proven, widely-installed uniform tracking system,” said Mark Starrett, vice president and managing director of the Valley Forge Casino Resort. “InvoTech’s GIMS™ inventory software is easy for our staff to use. Plus, when an employee swipes their infrared barcode ID card at the uniform system door their uniforms and locker bags are delivered to the employees in seconds. AJ Conveyor and Laundry Systems managed Valley Forge’s uniform system automation project. “We worked with Valley Forge Casino Resort in its initial planning stage to design its uniform system operation and recommend vendors that would create efficiencies that minimize costs. We advised they use InvoTech’s uniform tracking and inventorying system because it consistently performs very well in high-volume installations,” said Anthony J. Bevilaque, AJ Conveyor’s president.

InvoTech establishes accountability with electronic signature capture
“InvoTech’s system at Valley Forge Casino Resort tracks which uniforms are issued to employees and which are at the laundry for accurate inventorying that reduces lost-uniform expenses,” said Jeff Welles, vice president of InvoTech. “An electronic signature capture terminal records each employee’s signature when uniforms are initially issued and when loaner uniforms are provided.” Welles noted the electronic signature capture process enables Valley Forge Casino Resort to operate a virtually paperless laundry operation with accountability for each uniform. Our GIMS™ tracking reports identify which uniforms have not been returned by employees and laundries. In addition, uniform cleaning costs are entered into InvoTech and reports may be quickly generated to audit laundry expenses to update budgets.
