We are delighted to see our new client, Welch Allyn, go live on our SaaS service
Boston (PRWEB) September 21, 2009
Anaqua, a leading provider of intellectual asset management (IAM) software and services, and Welch Allyn, a leading global manufacturer of frontline medical products and solutions, have entered into a multi-year agreement for the use of Anaqua's new ANAQUA Express IP management software to manage the company's inventions, patents and trademarks. Welch Allyn will take advantage of the ANAQUA Express Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model.
Welch Allyn has for nearly 100 years been at the forefront of innovation to help caregivers around the world assess, diagnose, and treat more patients, more efficiently and more effectively. The company focuses on diagnostic instruments, state-of-the-art patient monitoring and a complete range of digital and connected solutions for "frontline care" doctors' offices, hospital emergency rooms, clinics, and skilled nursing facilities--the places where 95 percent of all patients seek treatment, but where just five percent of resources are utilized.
"We wanted to bring our patent prosecution activity in-house to save costs and improve quality, and we also wanted the option of a hosted solution," said Chris Horacek, associate general counsel at Welch Allyn. "We looked at the alternatives and selected Anaqua, and our team has been very impressed by the seamless and easy implementation process."
"We are delighted to see our new client, Welch Allyn, go live on our SaaS service," said Priya Iyer, CEO of Anaqua. "We are seeing increasing interest from mid-sized companies in the medical equipment and other sectors. With ANAQUA Enterprise and ANAQUA Express, we have solutions to match a broad range of needs and budgets. Our new Express Startup methodology gets the client up and running quickly and we are able to minimize the impact on their internal team."
