Customers have told us again and again how they love using miFrame in their kitchen to keep iPad charged and held upright while following recipe videos. So we pressed our team to release a new product that looked great in the kitchen.

Striped Sail is proud to announce a new distinctive style to its miFrame iPad stand brand: Antique Copper. Beginning today visitors to StripedSail.com and to our online store, store.StripedSail.com, will have the opportunity to purchase this limited edition framed iPad stand for only $499.
“Since the launch of the original Enduring Silver anodized aluminum miFrame in 2011 for the first generation iPad, customers have been asking us for more unique looks and styles. Customers have told us again and again how they love using miFrame in their kitchen to keep iPad charged and held upright while following recipe videos. So we pressed our team to release a new product that looked great in the kitchen. Copper has a long and rich history as a metal of choice in the kitchen and is frequently used to make picture frames too, so it was an obvious choice to us that the next style we release would be made of copper,” says lead designer and co-founder Justin Elkow.
The miFrame Antique Copper Limited Edition combines a lightweight and durable aluminum core with a striking antique copper exterior. Like every other miFrame Striped Sail has released, the new product can charge iPad with its built-in dock connector in both portrait and landscape orientations and it comes with an extended 5’ USB cable so miFrame can be positioned in just the right place and still reach an outlet.
Very unique to Striped Sail’s miFrame iPad dock, the product serves dual purposes. On the one hand it can hold an iPad upright while a user checks mail and surfs the web. On the other it’s a functional 8x10 picture frame when iPad is out-and-about.
“Our antique copper is specially alloyed to prevent the frame and base from forming a verdigris or the natural patina which forms when copper is weathered and exposed to air,“ says Elkow. “Our process ensures every frame has a unique aged look that doesn’t require maintenance as long as you own the product.”
Like the Distinguished Black, and Rose Gold miFrame models, the Antique Copper Limited Edition miFrame is compatible with the iPad 2 and the new iPad with the Retina display and exclusively for sale at StripedSail.com.
