Users can now upload photos to PicResize.com on their Apple mobile devices

For the first time, iPhone users can navigate to PicResize.com in Safari, and upload a pre-existing photo or snap a new picture right at that time.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) September 21, 2012

Since the release of Apple’s mobile operating system iOS in 2007, Apple has chosen to limit the capability for a user to upload pictures directly through its mobile Safari web browser. This meant that when a user visited PicResize.com, one of the most popular online image editing tools on the Web, on their Apple mobile devices, they could not upload photos directly from their phones or tablets. This week, Apple publicly announced the availability of their newest mobile operating system iOS6 giving its users the ability to upgrade their devices for free. The iPhone 5 also comes preloaded with iOS6.

With the advent of Apple’s newest mobile operating system, PicResize.com, a popular web site that provides free tools that help people resize and crop their pictures easily on the Web, is now fully supported on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch running iOS6. The free web site has grown to become one of the most popular online image editing tools on the Web with more than 30 million pictures processed.

“One of the most asked questions that we receive is the ability to use PicResize.com on an iPhone or iPad,” said Nich Wattanasin, founder of PicResize.com and owner of InterNich LLC. “For the first time, iPhone users can navigate to PicResize.com in Safari, and upload a pre-existing photo or snap a new picture right at that time.”

Using the PicResize.com web site on an iPhone or iPad gives a user the ability to easily resize, crop, and add special effects, such as ‘Rounded Corners’ or ‘Polaroid’ filters, to their photos without buying or installing any new Apps. The free web site also allows the user to share their modified photos on social networks such as Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter with a click of a button.
