Highlights of Accuro’s own operating results include:

368% increase in Quarter-on-Quarter (QoQ) lease volume.
1,780% increase in lease volume for March 2012 versus March 2011.
510% increase in QoQ sale volume.
930% increase in sale volume for March 2012 versus March 2011.
94 new listings for IPv4 address for sale or lease in Q1 2012.
61 completed transactions in Q1 2012.
104 appraisals in Q1 2012; 43 in March 2012 alone.
23% increase in average block size to just smaller than a /17 of IPv4 space.
96 letters of intent signed in Q1 2012.

For the industry as a whole, Accuro’s report includes the following highlights:

81 non-Accuro publically announced transactions.
Approximately 50% increase in price on observable transactions.
Strong increase in non-ARIN RIR transactions.
Asia Pacific region represented greatest growth, followed by Australia in terms of transaction volume.

Accuro Consulting also announced today the formulation of several new services designed to aid customers contemplating an IP address sale. This new services are set to launch on June 1, 2012 and are available to any new or existing Accuro client.

“While IPv6 is not anywhere near any level of operational implementation, the time required for most clients to assess their IPv4 needs, decide whether to sell excess IPv4 addresses, and then implement plans to free excess IP address space sometimes surprises clients. Obviously each of those steps diminishes the overall amount of time a client can financially benefit from their IPv4 address space,” said Thom Carlson, Accuro’s Senior IP Liquidation Specialist.

“In response to customer demand, we’ve undertaken several initiatives to allow prospective clients a way to easily ‘put a toe in the water’, so to speak, and determine if an IPv4 address sale is right for their business. By lowering the barriers to entry in to the marketplace, our prospective clients are able to start groundwork required prior to selling IPv4 addresses earlier and, therefore, realize an even greater return on those IP addresses.”

These new initiatives include:
Complimentary, no-obligation, viability studies and IP background checks to help clients determine the viability, and regulatory constraints, related to any IPv4 address sale.
Free base appraisals including value ranges for the client’s IPv4 address ranges.
Non-exclusive, non-fee-based engagement agreements for up to 6 months.
“Action Reports”, including recommended deal structure and timelines.
Current IPv4 utilization analysis including migration recommendations to liberate the maximum amount of IP address space to be included in the liquidation.
