The 30 second debut DRTV ad, created in conjunction with MostlyMedia and produced by PangaeaTv, features a tradesman talking about his favourite tools of the trade which includes the IronmongeryDirect catalogue which he classes as an equally important tool.
The radio campaign is due to air daily on TalkSport at the same time as the TV ad.
The company has recently moved to new premises investing in brand new business management systems which represent an investment of over £2.5 million.
IronmongeryDirect increased turnover by 25% in 2010 to £12.5 million achieving a sixth year of consecutive growth.
