“When someone enters a retail location or visits aryty.com to arrange a top-up for a family member or friend, it’s important that we be able to serve that customer immediately," Steve LaBella, president and CEO of iSend.

iSend, a leading U.S. electronic payment service for people who support family members in other countries, announced today that its mobile phone top-up service now extends to the customers of LIME, the Caribbean’s only full-service telecoms provider. Consumers in the U.S., the UK and Canada can now purchase prepaid mobile phone minutes for LIME customers in 13 Caribbean countries by visiting any of over 100,000 retail locations, including nearly 150 Pay-O-Matic locations in New York City alone. Consumers worldwide can arrange those same top-ups, with free trials available for 10 of those countries, at iSend’s online portal, http://www.aryty.com.

Prepaid top-ups and free top-up trial recharges can be sent to LIME customers in Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent & the Grenadines. Prepaid top-ups can also be sent to LIME customers in the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Turks & Caicos.

“Our full-court press to expand our reach to more customers in more countries has a tremendous benefit for iSend customers,” said Steve LaBella, president and CEO of iSend. “When someone enters a retail location or visits aryty.com to arrange a top-up for a family member or friend, it’s important that we be able to serve that customer immediately. The addition of free trials to http://www.aryty.com also adds value by making it especially easy for a new customer to see how useful the service is with no obligation.”

“iSend’s technology provides an excellent platform for us to make top-up services easier for our customers, so this is indeed an ideal partnership for LIME,” said Colin Benjamin, LIME’s head of diaspora and visitor sales.

iSend customers can top-up the cell phones of family members and friends, at the customer’s level of choice and with instant verification, in very simple transactions. Customers are not charged for the service beyond the normal price of minutes, and it is an extremely convenient way to keep communications open during holidays, major events or emergencies.
