Hospital to Benefit across 11 Units Thanks to Reliable, Easy-to-use Solution

The iSirona team took the time to understand our needs and was able to very quickly adapt to our existing CIS. Their customer service exceeded our expectations throughout the project, and we now have an integration solution that is reliable and easy to use.

iSirona®, a provider of simplified solutions for medical device integration, today announced go-live status at MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island, Illinois. Accredited by the Joint Commission, MetroSouth is a general medical and surgical hospital that has been recognized nationally for its cardiology program.

iSirona provides a software-based solution that enables hospitals to integrate patient data from virtually any medical device into the electronic medical record. MetroSouth is leveraging that technology to transmit patient data from over 100 GE Unity Network devices, including Solar 8000 and Dash 4000 patient monitors.

iSirona’s approach to data reliability made them an obvious choice, according to Chief Information Officer John Ulett. “As we looked at replacing our existing system, reliability was a key concern,” he explains. “iSirona’s technology not only ensures that data won’t be lost—it provides us with critical tools for managing how our data flows.”

Ulett adds, “The iSirona team took the time to understand our needs and was able to very quickly adapt to our existing CIS. Their customer service exceeded our expectations throughout the project, and we now have an integration solution that is reliable and easy to use.”
