The Canadian Air Force's selection of our tools over competing C2 applications clearly indicates their desire to push the state of the art and integrate a modern, powerful and extensible C2 enterprise for their mission critical applications.

Intelligent Software Solutions , a global leader in Command and Control application development, announces the sale of enterprise-wide licenses of their Command and Control Core (C2 Core) software suite to the Canadian Air Force. C2 Core will be installed in the Canadian Air Operations Center, as well as research sites, to enable experimentation with cutting-edge C2 applications. The software will be a key enabler for new operational processes to support current and future Canadian Air Force operations. ISS will provide professional services for configuration, training, and integration, in addition to the C2 Core licenses.

The C2 Core software suite provides an end-to-end C2 capability, complete from strategy to assessment, designed using the latest software design principles. C2 Core comprises a series of services enabling C2 workflow including assessment, mission planning, airspace planning, mission execution, assessment, as well as full support for generating USMTF 2000 and 2004 messages. C2 Core enables the ability to track the entire life cycle of C2 operations from within a single environment and user experience - including force and unit level components.

ISS develops an entire line of C2 applications based on the C2 Core engine. These applications enable Unit Level C2, Global Strike, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Strategy to Task Assessment, Effects-based Assessment, Master Air Attack Planning (MAAP), as well as Space C2. Marcus Featherston, ISS Vice President of C4ISR Programs offered, "The Canadian Air Force's selection of our tools over competing C2 applications clearly indicates their desire to push the state of the art and integrate a modern, powerful and extensible C2 enterprise for their mission critical applications."

The sale will result in the addition of staff at ISS headquarters in Colorado Springs as well as in Canada.
