NCH Software Adds Web Console Management for Their IVR Software

NCH Software released the latest version of their IVR software, IVM, which now includes a web management console designed to add a layer of simplicity to complex IVR systems.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) May 14, 2009 -- NCH Software announces the release of the latest major upgrade to their call attendant, voice mail and interactive response system, IVM.

This latest release of the IVR program features an intuitive web management console where administrators can set up and access voice mail systems, interactive voice response (IVR) systems and outbound dialing operations from a remote PC.

"The web management console is not designed to replace the application interface of the IVM," said Stephanie Lee, marketing manager for the Denver based software company. "Instead it is meant to provide an alternative to setting up and managing a telephone system, small or large, on a web interface which more and more people are becoming accustomed to configuring information on."

The web based console can be accessed by an administrator from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection. It includes the ability to restart the IVR server remotely, view logs, set passwords, check voice mail and set up or modify all system settings, voice prompts, menus and outbound dialing options. End users can also access the system to check and listen to their voice mail with the system recording the Caller ID, time and duration on the call.

"IVM is one of our most important telephony applications in our range because it can be used by businesses in such a diverse way, as well as connecting and integrating with our other telephony solutions and applications" said Stephanie. "NCH Software, like most businesses, uses the IVM as a call attendant and voice mail system in conjunction with our Virtual PBX, Axon, but it is also popular for the interactive outbound dialing and message delivery capabilities."

Police stations servicing remote communities have installed the IVM to schedule outbound interactive calls to check on elderly or disabled residents. The IVR software is set to dial a list of numbers and can detect when an answering machine or human picks up the phone and deliver an appropriate message. If a human picks up the call they are prompted by a message asking them to key in a response from the telephone keypad. This is then logged to a file or database.
