Companies to honor travel brands for most engaging mobile experience

Consumers are increasingly managing their entire travel experience on their mobile devices, and it has become a critical component for travel brands that want to build a true omni-channel experience.

Worldwide Business Research (WBR), the world’s leading producer of B2B focused marketing events, today announced that J.D. Power will recognize the top digital travel app developers on-site at the 2019 Digital Travel Summit (April 8th-10th).

Following the release of the inaugural J.D. Power U.S. Travel App Satisfaction Study findings, the data and analytics company will announce the travel apps that have the most satisfying user experience across four categories: Airline, Hotel, Rental Car and Online Travel Agency. The winners will be honored during a special awards gala on Tuesday, April 9th at the Hyatt Indian Wells in Palm Desert, CA.

“Across the industries, there are common key areas among apps that have tremendous influence on the app user’s experience,” said Michael Taylor, Practice Lead for Travel at J. D. Power. “Those are the basics that apps must provide. The highest ranked apps deliver on those basics and perform well on those attributes that are unique to their market: hotel, rental car, airline or online travel agent.”
