DSG became the official digital partner of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) earlier this year and have since launched a number of Player profile fan pages on social media site Facebook as well as providing official player pages on their site football.co.uk. It was today the turn of Everton Football Club’s Jack Rodwell to see his official PFA Profile.

Rodwell joined Everton’s youth system at the age of seven, and made his under 18’s debut at the age of 14 and reserve team debut at just 15. His senior debut came in 2007 in a European cup match against AZ making Rodwell the youngest ever player to play for Everton in Europe. He has since gone on to make 85 appearances for Everton scoring 4 goals in the process. Rodwell has represented England at various youth levels as well as making 2 appearances for the senior team. In 2006 Rodwell captain the England under 16 team to Victory Shield success and was also part of the 2009 Under 21 European Championships. He made his senior debut replacing Phil Jones in 2011 in England’s 1-0 friendly over Spain.

Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say “Rodwell will have no shortage of fans after impressing for both Everton Football Club and the Junior and Senior England teams. Of course a player with Rodwell’s potential requires a certain level of respect and responsibility and he is sure to be a major hit with fans on Facebook.”

Digital Sports Group will provide further PFA player profiles for every professional footballer in England. The Jack Rodwell Facebook page is now live.
