Digital Sports Group are today launching the PFA Profile of Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere. DSG became the official digital partner of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) earlier this year and have since launched a number of Player profile fan pages on social media site Facebook as well as providing official player pages on their football news site football.co.uk. It was today the turn of Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere to see his official PFA Profile.
Wilshere broke on to the Premier League scene in 2008 at the age of just 16 and his impressive performances for both Bolton and Arsenal, earned the young midfielder his senior England debut. Wilshere is a player known for his movement, vision, passing and combination play and has been compared to England legend Paul Gascoigne for his attributes as an all round midfielder. Despite being rumoured to be back to full fitness, Wilshere looks set to miss the start of the 2012-13 season but his eventual return is bound to be extremely influential in Arsenal’s push for the Premier League title.
Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say “Wilshere will have no shortage of fans after his impressive breakthrough into the Arsenal and England team with everyone sure to be excited about his return from injury.”
“Of course a player with Wilshere’s talent requires a certain level of respect and responsibility and he is sure to be a major hit with fans on Facebook.”
Digital Sports Group will provide further PFA player profiles for every professional footballer in England as well as the latest transfer gossip and football results. The Jack Wilshere Facebook Page is now live.
