Since the company’s founding in Altoona, PA in 1984, DSI has specialized in automating corrections agencies to provide more efficient and effective solutions for the end-user.
Over the past 25 years, DSI has grown from a small regional software company into a national multi-faceted technology company employing over 160 people.
In 1994, Digital Solutions formed a sister company Inmate Telephone, Inc., and became branded as Digital Solutions / Inmate Telephone, Inc. (DSI / ITI) to provide facilities the ability to integrate, manage and monitor all offender activities from one source The addition of an inmate phone system to DSI’s offender management software allows for a greater level of integration to the end-user, reducing the amount of data entry required to maintain the corrections database and providing a more consistent customer experience for the facility.
DSI / ITI now offers multiple solutions for the corrections industry including: Offender Management System (OMS) for managing facilities and offenders, Offender Communication System (OCS) for monitoring inmate phone calls, Call Track for managing low risk probation offenders and Call IQ for investigating the content of inmate phone calls, among others.
