Delivering a unique twist on online shopping, new social platform Jamboroo is an online space where non-profits – from well-known causes to the smaller community-based ones – can update supporters, connect with their followers, and shop for the products they need. Every member of Jamboroo including causes earns points by shopping for items from their favorite stores - like Old Navy, Kmart, Staples, Sony, and many others. What’s unique about Jamboroo is that those points can be donated to Jamboroo causes or redeemed for cash.

“During my experience in the non-profit industry as a working mother, I noticed that causes continually struggle to make ends meet as they work to make real change in our communities and our world. Consumers are also looking for a way to shop while making a difference. So we designed Jamboroo to connect the two. Ideally, we see Jamboroo as the LinkedIn for causes,” explains Titi Sonekan, the CEO and founder of Jamboroo, Inc.

Through Jamboroo, online shoppers now have a new - and easier - way to donate to their favorite causes by earning cash back rewards on the things they buy every day. Consumers and businesses, even the causes themselves, can elect to keep their points or donate them to their favorite charities.

“Our intent is that you’ll never have to write another donation check. Consumers will find the best bargains and use their reward points, either as cash back or by donating them and without tapping into their personal funds,” says Sonekan, an experienced, Certified Public Accountant with over 15 years working for not-for-profit organizations like the National League of Cities, Family Matters, and the National Association of Young Children. “The biggest challenges to non-profits today is optimizing awareness and efficiently securing funding. Jamboroo’s mission is to help causes connect with the world and get the support and resources they need without all the hassle of the standard donation plea.”
