Jason Von Bank, president and chief executive officer of St. Louis Park-based Wellbeats, a national leader in virtual, on-demand fitness for individuals and workplace well-being programs, has been named a finalist for EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2019 Award in the Heartland.
Widely recognized as one of the most prestigious business awards programs in the United States, EY’s awards recognize entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Finalists were selected by a panel of independent judges.
Now in its 33rd year, the EY awards program recognizes business leaders in more than 145 cities and more than 60 countries. Winners of the Heartland award will be announced at a black-tie gala June 27 at the Children’s Theater Company in Minneapolis. Regional winners are eligible for consideration in the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards, which will be announced Nov. 16 in Palm Springs, CA.
“I am incredibly proud to earn this recognition from a program that has been a pioneer in encouraging entrepreneurial activity and recognizing the contributions of inspiring leaders. There really is no other awards program like this,” said Von Bank. “This honor is particularly significant to me because innovation is a driving factor of our business at Wellbeats and it’s a testament to the hard work and commitment of our team.”
