JCA, digital specialist, has introduced the latest version of its user interface, Media Window V3.0, into Shine Internationals global operations. The update consolidates JCA’s position as the primary facility house serving the Shine International business allowing 24/7 access to JCAs master inventory store or to pull and re-version content from the JCA cloud.

The user interface upgrade features a new look Media Window enabling fast and efficient access to Shine’s global inventory, including all master materials, tapes, files and audio content. The online portal acts as a gateway into Shine’s inventory, providing the operations team with easy access to the assets that JCA holds and manages.

“The new media window has been a valuable addition to our global operations team,” notes Abigail Hughes, Operations and Programme Director at Shine. “It enables us to view an inventory of our assets at any time, as well as giving us the ability to see not only the UK’s content but also Australia’s, which is vital in such a fast moving industry.”

By improving the metadata functionality, Shine users are now able to find the exact content they are looking for in the programme within seconds, a feat that was previously very time consuming. With this new technology in place, Shine is able to effectively manage its content from a single portal.
