CoursEval shares JICS's flexibility, its ease of use and demonstrated attractiveness to two-year, four-year, health profession, teacher education, and other professional schools. We look forward to a long and productive partnership.
Boston, MA (Vocus) October 27, 2009
Jenzabar®, Inc., a leading provider of software, services and strategies for higher education, announced today a strategic partnership with Academic Management Systems (AMS), a provider of academic productivity software and support services for colleges and universities. The partnership will deliver a Web-based course evaluation tool that seamlessly integrates with Jenzabar's Internet Portal.
The AMS partnership will provide Jenzabar clients with CoursEval™, a Web-based evaluation tool that gives higher education institutions the ability to set up a wide variety of course, faculty and other assessment activities online. The solution enables customers using Jenzabar's Internet Campus Solution (JICS) to easily conduct student evaluations of instruction and conveniently navigate to and from the institution's Internet portal.
"Prior to the partnership, Jenzabar and AMS shared a number of clients that requested to have their full-featured course evaluation solution seamlessly integrated with Jenzabar's Internet Portal," said Rick Tomlinson, Product Marketing Manager at Jenzabar. "We quickly agreed that a new partnership would offer an efficient and trouble-free solution that could be tailored to suit the institution's needs."
Jenzabar's Internet Campus Solution gives constituents 24x7 access to role-specific content, from administrative records and reports to online exams and chat rooms. CoursEval is designed for campus-wide use with department-specific focus and provides online access to survey instruments, collected data, and reports.
"We are delighted that Jenzabar has recognized the value that CoursEval can bring to institutions eager -- or perhaps a little hesitant -- to explore the role of web-based technologies in improving curriculum and instruction," said AMS Founder and Vice President, John Eisner. "CoursEval shares JICS's flexibility, its ease of use and demonstrated attractiveness to two-year, four-year, health profession, teacher education, and other professional schools. We look forward to a long and productive partnership."
