We are eager to listen to the concerns of our client Presidents, discuss emerging trends, and provide them with some valuable concepts that they can execute on their campuses.
Boston, MA (Vocus) March 19, 2009
Jenzabar®, Inc., a leading provider of software, services and strategies for higher education, announced today that its Annual Presidents Summit will focus on the topic, "The Right Strategy in Challenging Times: Adapting Your Strategy to Now and Gaining Share in ERA (Enrollment, Retention & Advancement)." This year's program of scholarly fellowship and thought-provoking discussion will feature Dr. Harold R. Penton, founder of the business strategy consulting firm Innovation Insights; Douglas P. Weimer, Executive Director of Continuing Education at Louisiana State University; Dr. Richard T. Hezel, founder and owner of Hezel Associates, which delivers research, evaluation, and strategy for learning institutions; and Erik Nilsson, principal and founder of the marketing and PR firm eNilsson International LLC, which specializes in web-based political campaign technology.
The 2009 Presidents Summit will be held in Boston, Massachusetts, for the executive leadership of Jenzabar client institutions. The program will begin with a welcome dinner on Thursday, April 2, followed by a day of learning, and interactive discussion and networking on Friday, April 3. An introductory session on "The Value Innovation Process" will begin with Penton, who will share his ideas on combining the concepts of Blue Ocean strategy with the practical methods of Creating Customer Centered Organizations. Weimer will then discuss how Continuing Education units often contribute a different perspective and entrepreneurial thinking that can help generate new revenues, rapidly develop and launch new programs, identify underserved or growing markets, and support recruitment of traditional students.
Following Weimer's presentation, Hezel will explore the current state of international higher education and new market identification, and provide recommendations by which to assess the "right" countries for an institution. Nilsson will follow this presentation with a discussion on the dominant role volunteer networks play in fundraising strategies for institutions of higher education. He will share how volunteer networking and technology are changing the face of fundraising and how higher education institutions can learn from best practices in modern political campaigning. The program will then conclude with a breakfast on Saturday, April 4.
"We organize the Jenzabar Presidents Summit each year to help build collaboration amongst institutional presidents, and to highlight innovative approaches to revenue growth, student success, global development, and fundraising strategies," said Sashi Parthasarathi, Vice President of Client Relations at Jenzabar. "We are eager to listen to the concerns of our client Presidents, discuss emerging trends, and provide them with some valuable concepts that they can execute on their campuses."
