Jeremiah Weed Calls on Paris Hilton, Obama, McCain to Hold Energy Summit

Creator of Jeremiah Weed Bourbon Liqueur Seeks to Create a Unified Front on U.S Energy Policy with Paris Hilton and Other Presidential Candidates

WEED, Ky. (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) August 8, 2008 -- Mr. Jeremiah Weed, the founding father of Jeremiah Weed Bourbon Liqueur, responded to Paris Hiltons surprise revelation in which she announced her candidacy for President by making a bold pronouncement of his own - calling for Hilton, Barack Obama and John McCain to visit his home in Weed, Kentucky for a conference centered around U.S. energy policy.

During a television address to the nation earlier in the week, Hilton proposed an energy solution comprised of a mixture of offshore drilling and appropriating funds to develop alternative energy sources a proposal that introduced yet another differing view into the political debate on how America should address its energy crisis. Paris Hiltons recommendation prompted Mr. Weed to propose a summit between the three Presidential candidates in order to arrive at a comprehensive and consistent plan to achieve energy independence - a discussion that he would moderate.

News Image One thing about Paris Hilton and her energy policy is that she brings energy to about whatever she does, stated Mr. Weed. And she said that she was hot. Thats because of global warming I reckon.

Mr. Weed made his summit proposal in an interview this week from his home the footage from which was posted on the Jeremiah Weed website (www.JeremiahWeedBourbon.com). The interview has since found its way onto YouTube (watch) and other media sites.

Mr. Weed backed up the merits of his proposal by saying, I guarantee, old or not, with Paris Hilton talking about energy, them fellas will be listening - probably watching too.

Finally, Weed went on to discuss the particulars of the proposed summit by stating that it would be a dialogue solely between the three Presidential candidates. In doing so, Weed brought up an old controversy between Jeremiah Weed and Evan Williams Bourbon from this Springs Presidential Primary saying, Wed bypass them Evan Williams fellas who tried to insert themselves into the political process and influence the voters of Kentucky. Thats not what were doing here; were trying to get the energy right. (view story)
